On January 9, 2025, the results of the 2024 VENTURE50 Awards, jointly sponsored by Zero2IPO Venture and Investment Community, were announced. AGIBOT was successfully selected as one of the healthcare VENTURE50 list due to its outstanding strength. This honour is not only a high recognition of AGIBOT, but also highlights its innovative ability and growth potential in the field of surgical robotics.

On December 5, 2024, AGIBOT laparoscopic surgical robot developed by AGIBOT Medical Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (AGIBOT) successfully completed the last case of robotic-assisted lung segmental resection at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University under the supervision of Professor Qi Yu. At this point, the multi-disciplinary and multi-centre clinical trial of AGIBOT Laparoscopic Surgical Robot has been completed.

On October 23, 2024, Professor Meng Yuanguang successfully performed the final procedure of a robotic-assisted malignant endometrial tumor resection in the operating room of the First Medical Center at the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) General Hospital. This marks the successful conclusion of the clinical trial of the AGIBOT laparoscopic surgical robot, independently developed by AGIBOT Medical Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (AGIBOT), in the gynecology department at PLA General Hospital. This milestone also signifies a key advancement in AGIBOT’s multicenter, multi-specialty clinical trials.

On August 14, 2024, AGIBOT Laparoscopic Surgical Robot completed its multicenter registration trial at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH), Zhejiang University School of Medicine(hereinafter “Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital”), marking a milestone in China’s surgical robotics innovation. The trial concluded with two consecutive mediastinal tumor resections led by Prof. Zhu Ziyi’s thoracic team.

On August 19, 2024, Secretary Ding Lixin of the Wuzhong District Party Committee, accompanied by Zhang Huaqian, Member of the Standing Committee of the Wuzhong District Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Wuzhong Economic and Technological Development Zone, visited AGIBOT for a research and inspection tour. Xu Min, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of AGIBOT, warmly received the delegation and hosted a discussion.

In July 2024, AGIBOT Medical Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (AGIBOT) completed the signing of a series A financing of over 100 million yuan. This round of financing was led by Cenova Capital, followed by HGC, and received additional investment from existing shareholders Oriza Seed, Sherpa Healthcare Partners, and Suzhou Yihe. The funds from this round of financing will be used to accelerate the company’s innovative R&D, mass production delivery, and commercialization.
